How would someone in my position have a chance of getting into Princeton?

The question is in the title. I live in a small Alaskan village, where no AP, or IB classes are offered, even through online courses. I have a 3.5 GPA, and scored a 2000 (rounded down) on the SATs. However, I have an impressive list of extra curricular activities, ranging from aiding in the local native Tribe, volunteer emergency work, food drives, National Honor Society, and other things besides. I understand that my GPA isn’t terrible, however, it’s the AP and IB classes I lack that make me nervous. I’m an excellent student when it comes to Language Arts, reading, writing, comprehension. It’s Math and Science where I lag behind. I’d have a 4.0 if not for that.

I suppose my actual question is: Without the AP classes, in a position where it is literally impossible for me to have taken them, with a 3.5 GPS and a 2000 on the SAT, would it be anywhere near possible for me to get into Princeton?

Chosen Answer:

I hate to break it to you, but even people with GPA above 4.0 and 2200 SAT do get rejected from Princeton. Think of it as a fighter jet pilot – even if you’re ‘well above average’, you still cannot have any defects or shortcomings AT ALL in ordered to be recruited to the institution. Realistically speaking, apply to schools like UC and try to get a scholarship.
